Sometimes it’s never enough.
Wishing for a perfect submissive or dominant isn’t enough. Simply looking and living your best life isn’t always enough. There’s never an “enough” to guarantee finding Love, let alone Submission and someone worthy of that Submission. Or someone worthy of Ownership.
…but sometimes it is.
Yes, there are plenty of perfectly amazing dominants and submissives.
To hear some talk, you’d think there was a shortage of competent submissives or considerate dominants.
The internet is awash in smears stating that submissives as demanding and entitled; that there are “no good dominants.” There are, however, no shortages of complaints.
Endless lists of their wants and demands of the Perfect Sub or Dom, though, unsurprisingly little about what they, themselves, have to offer.
Why don’t we state our value as often as we demand the value of others?
Perhaps we- all- need to be working hard to get what we want, rather than demanding and hoping it drops in our laps (okay, I might have done that, but please don’t rely on this method!).
I hope that one day I see more where people are offering what they have, instead of mostly hearing what they want.
Because, otherwise, you get what you get. And you don’t get upset.
