Today I discovered that Bill Maher is poly. I am not surprised, but I am pleased. I also love that he didn’t really make an announcement of it, but just didn’t lie.
From his show:
Stern: Do you have a girlfriend?
Maher: I don’t need a girlfriend, not in a traditional sense..
Stern: …okay, but is there someone you hang out with that makes you feel good, you adore?
Maher (without a beat): Yes. (beat) But it’s not one person.
I do not care whether you agree and support Howard Stern or Bill Maher. …but if that isn’t a definition of polyamory, I don’t know what is.
